Maintenance of Graves

*MAYLANDS CEMETERY GRAVE UPDATE*

AsSalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu.

We wish to provide an update regarding recent grave subsidence.

Management is fully aware of the situation and continues to monitor all affected areas. The necessary works will be undertaken as soon as it is practically possible to do so, with priority given to burials.

Please note that grave settlement is a normal and expected occurrence. It is necessary to allow sufficient time for the ground to naturally settle and stabilise before any remedial work can effectively commence. Recent adverse weather conditions have exacerbated this process. Allowing an appropriate settling period helps ensure that any works carried out are durable and do not need to be repeated.
