SGM CAMP 2027 is officially on the horizon; and this one is incredibly special.

Next year marks 15 YEARS of SGM Camp! 🥹✨

15 years of women gathering.
15 years of worship.
15 years of prayer.
15 years of sisterhood.
15 years of transformation.
15 years of watching God do what only He can do.

What started as a vision has become a legacy, and through every season, every camp and every testimony, God has remained faithful.

So as we enter this milestone year, our declaration is simple:

IT IS SETTLED - WE DON’T COMPETE. 🏁

We’re not running somebody else’s race. We’re not comparing lanes. We’re not measuring our journey against another woman’s. We know who we are, we know whose we are, and we’re focused on the race God has given us to run.

Because when God has spoken, there is nothing left to prove.

What a journey. What a sisterhood. What a God. 💚✨

To every woman who joined us for SGM Camp 2026; thank you. Thank you for trusting the vision, for showing up with open hearts, and for saying "yes" to everything God had in store for you.

This wasn't just a camp; it was a sacred space where lives were impacted, friendships were formed, tears were shed, prayers were answered, and faith was strengthened. Watching each of you encounter God in your own unique way has been one of my greatest joys.

My prayer is that what began at camp continues long after you've unpacked your suitcase. May you carry the lessons, the courage, the peace, the joy, and the promises with you into every season ahead.

Remember, this is not the end; it's only the beginning.

Thank you for making SGM Camp 2026 so incredibly special. I already can't wait until we're together again.

We can only steward what we are willing to look at honestly. Thank you iamdrviv for this vital reminder that numbers aren’t just data; they represent the people, resources, and moments we’ve been trusted to care for!

Be very wary of the person who resists measurable accountability.

Not the person who asks questions about it. Not the person who wants to understand it. The person who consistently and deliberately avoids it. Who finds reasons why the metrics do not apply to them. Who operates in a space of deliberate vagueness because vagueness cannot be held to account.

That resistance is never about the measurement system.

It is about what the measurement would reveal.

Here is what I have learned across decades of working with leaders and organisations at every level. The people who resist accountability structures are almost never the people who are performing well and simply have a philosophical disagreement with measurement. They are almost always the people who already know what the numbers would say if anyone looked closely enough.

So, they keep things vague. They keep things relational. They keep things in the realm of impressions and intentions rather than outcomes and evidence.

Because impressions can be managed.

Evidence cannot.

I want to say something directly to every leader in this community.

Seniority does not reduce accountability. It increases it.

The higher you climb the more your decisions affect. The more people whose livelihoods, development, and futures are shaped by the quality of your leadership. The more the organisation or ministry depends on your performance being what you represent it to be.
Seniority without accountability is not leadership. It is unchecked influence. And unchecked influence in any organisation is one of the most expensive things that organisation will ever carry.

Promotion is not given to the most talented person in the room. It is given to the person who kept the promises they made in the last season. The person whose word produced evidence. Whose commitments became outcomes. Whose accountability record demonstrated that more responsibility would be well placed.

You cannot manage what you do not measure.

And you cannot trust what consistently refuses to be measured.

Know the difference. It will protect everything you are building.

HELLO JULY ❤️🕊️
The seventh day was not weakness.
It was worship.

After creating the heavens and the earth, God rested.
Not because He was tired.
But because what He had spoken was complete.

July carries that same invitation.
Pause long enough to notice what God has been building.

Look again.
You are not who you were in January.
Your prayers have changed.
Your convictions have deepened.
Your resilience has grown.
The things that once broke you no longer define you.

Formation is often quiet.
Sometimes growth looks less like fireworks and more like roots stretching deeper underground.
Sometimes God is sculpting strength where nobody applauds.
Faith where nobody notices.
Character where nobody celebrates.
But heaven sees.

The seventh month reminds us that God is not merely interested in outcomes.
He is interested in formation.

Because He is not only preparing promises.
He is preparing people.

This July, may we surrender again to the Sculptor's hands.

May unfinished places encounter grace.
May weary hearts find renewal.
May hidden seasons produce lasting fruit.

The work is not over.
But neither has God stopped shaping.

There is a highly sophisticated trap that gifted and called believers frequently fall into: we become infatuated with our own potential.

We fall in love with the idea of who we could become; the visionary, the healed leader, the deeply disciplined woman of God, while subtly avoiding the gruelling, everyday pruning required to actually construct that reality. We use tomorrow as a sanctuary to hide from the demands of today.

But hear me clearly: Potential is not a promise. It is merely raw materials.

God will never validate your abstract intentions. In James 1:22, we are explicitly warned against being mere "hearers" or theorisers of the word; which is a form of self-delusion. A seed left on a shelf possesses the exact same potential as a seed planted in the soil, but only one will ever yield a harvest that feeds nations.

Your future is not a far-off event that happens to you; it is a structural reality you are actively building right now through the microscopic choices of your daily routine. If you do not possess the character to manage your private world today, you cannot sustain the weight of the platform you are asking God for tomorrow.

Let's stop romanticising our possibilities and start executing our assignments.
