DARURILE SFÂNTULUI DUH
(Cuvânt al Sfântului Ioan Gură de Aur)
Mari, pline de iubire și mai presus de orice înțelegere omenească sunt darurile pe care ni le-a dăruit astăzi Dumnezeu Cel iubitor de oameni. De aceea, să ne bucurăm împreună și să prăznuim cu veselie, lăudând pe Domnul nostru. Căci astăzi este pentru noi zi de sărbătoare.
Așa cm o vreme urmează alteia și o sărbătoare vine după alta, tot astfel și în Biserică o prăznuire ne conduce la alta. Cu puține zile în urmă am sărbătorit Crucea, Patima și Învierea Domnului, iar după aceea am fost martori ai Înălțării Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos la cer. Astăzi însă am ajuns la culmea bunătăților dumnezeiești, la împlinirea făgăduinței Domnului.
„Căci dacă Mă voi duce, vă voi trimite un alt Mângâietor și nu vă voi lăsa orfani” (Ioan 16, 7).
Vedeți purtarea Sa de grijă? Vedeți iubirea Sa nemărginită? Cu puține zile în urmă S-a înălțat la cer, a șezut iarăși pe tronul împărătesc, luând loc de-a dreapta Tatălui, iar astăzi ne dăruiește venirea Sfântului Duh și ne împărtășește astfel de bunătățile cerești.
Spuneți-mi, oare, care dintre lucrurile ce contribuie la mântuirea noastră nu ne-au fost date prin Sfântul Duh? El ne eliberează din robia spirituală, ne cheamă la libertate, ne conduce la înfiere și, în general, ne renaște, eliberându-ne de povara grea și respingătoare a păcatului.
Prin harul Sfântului Duh avem mulțimea preoților și rânduiala învățătorilor. Din această izvorăște darul prorociei și puterea de a vindeca bolile. Și toate celelalte daruri care împodobesc de obicei Biserica lui Dumnezeu își au originea în El.
Despre aceasta strigă și Sfântul Apostol Pavel când spune:
„Și toate acestea le lucrează unul și același Duh, împărțind fiecăruia în parte, precum voiește” (1 Corinteni 12, 11).
„Precum voiește”, spune el, nu precum i se poruncește. El împarte, nu I se împarte. El are stăpânire, nu este sub stăpânire. Căci aceeași autoritate pe care Pavel o atribuie Tatălui o atribuie și Sfântului Duh.
Astfel spune despre Tatăl:
„Dumnezeu este Cel ce lucrează toate în toți” (1 Corinteni 12, 6).
Iar despre Sfântul Duh spune:
„Și toate acestea le lucrează unul și același Duh, împărțind fiecăruia în parte, precum voiește.”
Vedeți puterea Sa desăvârșită? Căci cei care au aceeași ființă au în mod evident și aceeași autoritate. Iar cei care au aceeași vrednicie au și aceeași putere și aceeași stăpânire.
Prin Sfântul Duh am dobândit iertarea păcatelor și ne-am curățit de orice întinăciune. Prin harul Lui, noi, cei ce ne-am apropiat de El, am devenit din oameni asemenea îngerilor, nu schimbându-ne firea, ci, ceea ce este cu adevărat minunat, rămânând oameni și arătând o viețuire îngerească.

They are great, loving, and exceed all human logic the gifts given to us today by the benevolent God. So that’s why let us be happy together and dance for joy to praise our Lord. Because today is a day for us. Just as one season passes one and one Eclipse passes another, so in the church a feast passes one and takes us from one to the other. So a few days ago we celebrated the cross, the passion, the resurrection, after seeing the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ into heaven. But today we met the peak of Agathan, we reached the metropolis of Gordon, we are in the fulfillment of the Lord's promise. "Because if I leave," he says, "I will send you another Request and I will not leave you Orphans" ( .. 16, 7).
Did you see Interest? Did you see Ephemeral charity? A few days ago he ascended to heaven, sat again on the royal throne, took the place at the right hand of the Father and today grants us the presence of the Holy Spirit and thus gives us the Ephemeral heavenly benefits. Why, tell me, which of the things that contribute to our salvation has not been given by the Holy Spirit? It frees us from spiritual slavery, calls us freedom, leads us to adoption and, in general, reborn us from the authority, and unloads us the heavy and repulsive burden of sin. By the grace of the Holy Spirit we see the many priests and have the orders of the teachers. Out of this source came prophetic gift and power to heal diseases. And everything else, the things that usually adorn the Church of God, where they originate. And she shouts οντας Paul as he says. "All these gifts are worked by the one and only Holy Spirit, who distributes them separately to everyone as he wishes" (1 Cor 12, 11). As he wants, he says, not as he was ordered. He divides, not divides. He has authority, not under authority. For the same precious authority, which he affirmed to the Father, he entrusts to Paul and to the Holy Spirit. And that's how it says about the Father. " « God is the one who acts everything to everyone" (1 Cor. 12, 6). So for the Holy Spirit. "And all these gifts," he says, "Acts by the one and only Holy Spirit, who distributes them separately to everyone as he wishes."
Did you see perfect power? Because those who have the same image, it is obvious that they have the same authority. And those who have the equal value, they have both the same power and the same authority. With the Holy Spirit we have achieved redemption from sins and washed away every impurity. By his grace we became angels from humans, those of us who approached his grace without changing our nature, but, which is very admirable, remaining in human nature we show angelic behavior...
