Men: Want to take some time to honour you. Thank you to all the men who keep it real. Defend and protect women, care for their children and give themselves the space to take a break when they need it. Protect your mental health in this season and make sure you get rest and peace. Joseph (Matthew 1) was everything to Mary. He was an integral part of her ability to carry the saviour into the world. But he is never really acknowledged. Like many men even today. Men - we salute you and honour you.

Really delighted with donations from Greggs this evening. I can tell you some young people in one of the hostels were extremely delighted. Also had enough to bless a family of 7 with some sweet treats too.

Praying for Jamaica: Both my parents hail from St Andrew so I’m feeling this situation personally. Let’s stand in prayer for all those affected by the floods. May no additional diseases arise especially in the time of the current pandemic. I pray that those I met in schools and homes back in 2010 are all safe and well.

Dropped off donations of bookbags (thanks to Claire Kelly on behalf of ).
Toiletries for men and women to an adult hostel in central Croydon. (Thanks to ALL that donated).
We received more small household donations which will be gladly received. The Bottom Drawer initiative is a great success.
However I was rather disappointed yesterday. The food donations that should have been allocated to us at Lidl had been collected by someone else 😳

Donations for the Bottom Drawer initiative are coming along nicely. To think that it stemmed from a conversation with many young people moving into (and out of) hostels; those off to uni and for women/families moving out of DV refuges are being supplied with essential small household goods. Thank you to everyone who has donated.
