Today I had this image in my head. I began to ask the Lord what this is about?
Why am I seeing a traffic light image 😐. God did not answer me, then I say to myself, okay this is just a silly thought.
Couple hours went by, and the image appeared 🤔 again. But this time I didn't only see the image, but I heard a voice says LIFE, okay, what about life?
Then I recognised God's voice, He said our lives can function like this traffic light. I said, okay Lord, in what way?
Then God begins to communicate with me deeply.
STOP (RED) God wants us to know that there is a time for everything. STOP can be positive for you, even when you may not feel to STOP.
When the light shows STOP, the cars facing the STOP sign, hath to obey. The obedience keeps things in control and gives other cars access to go. If the STOP sign is being ignored, this generates dangers and possible collision 💥.
Sometimes God is saying ✋️ STOP, trust God's STOP signs, *Proverbs* *3:5-6*
*Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. It is recorded that the human vision is only capable of seeing maximum distance of three miles. So even when we disobey God's STOP signal, there is only so much we can see ahead, whilst God see beyond our natural vision. Think! Of the many negatives outcomes that can occur if the cars ignore the STOP traffic sign. A penalty fine, fatality, loss of their driving licence etc..
Think of the many negative outcomes and consequences we can face when we ignore God's STOP sign.
Committed disobedience action, bad integrity, loss of family, punishment.
Don't ignore God's STOP sign, He knows and see what lies ahead. STOP and trust Him.
WAIT(Amber): This sign can be this most difficult to endure. Sometimes to wait or slow down seems like its forever. The WAIT sign comes sometimes when you least expected. Waiting or slowing down can puts us in a place of anticipations, our mind can be on just the results of just getting to that place. Have you ever fine yourself approaching this amber signal and before you start to slow down, you accelerated more, I did that before, and knowingly that I should not. God is saying remember Joseph, God had him through a period of amber sign. Because Joseph had a lot to learn and to experience. These were the words from Joseph's mouth when Potiphar's wife tried to lust and forced herself to him,
No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9. Joseph accepted his waiting process; he did not allow temptation to win. Once I saw the amber signal and I go through as quick as I can. But I did not get away too far, some Police officers drove me down and gave me a proper warning. I have learnt since to relax myself and slow down.
God wants you to understand His signal of WAIT is to impart profound knowledge into you. Listen to Him, as your GO is coming soon.
Go(green): The happy 😊 sign. God's GO sign is perfect. When He tells you to Go, trust me keep going. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end, Ecclesiastes 3:11. Remain focus 💯 and keep your eyes on the road. What have we learnt at God’s STOP sign? what have we learnt when He slow us down in that waiting mode?
Apply God’s wisdom in your GOING process, Enjoy the harvest that God promises you, Remain faithful and true to God, let us not forget that He has taken us THROUGH the STOP and WAIT process, and He will certainly be with us in His GOING process. God gave Moses the sign, to go and set His people free. Did He not stay with Moses all the way? Yes, He did.
God gave Abraham the sign to leave his father's house, was God with Abraham all the way through? Yes, God was with Abraham.
When God gives you His sign, just go, He is for us and with us.
The images of the traffic lights continue to linger in my head, however as I spoke to God and He reason with me. I have taken comfort in His words and wisdom, I have cared to share with you, as I have trusted God’s word, not to only bless me, but to bless others.
