Ukraine is recovering after last night’s severe attack. Kyiv and other major cities were targeted. Despite interceptions, there have been civilian casualties and significant damage.
We pray for comfort to those who grieve, healing to the injured and peace to Ukraine. 🙏Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.

Ukraine is recovering after last night’s severe attack. The main target was Kyiv, the capital, along with other major cities across the country. Many of the missiles and drones were intercepted, but there is still a high number of civilian casualties and extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
Infrastructure can be rebuilt, but human lives cannot be replaced. That is the reality.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims.

We stand with the Ukraine Division in prayer, hoping for an end to the aggression and the restoration of peace. 👏

On May 24, Ukraine came under one of the largest attacks since the start of the full-scale invasion. The main target was the capital city, Kyiv. The assault involved a wide range of weapons, including drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.
Many towns and villages were damaged or destroyed. Tragically, the attack left many people dead and injured.
Please join the Ukraine Division in prayer for an end to the aggression and for peace.

📢 'Dear friend, you are ‘light’ to express it, not to hide it. ‘Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bucket, but on a stand; and it gives light to all that are in the house,’ Jesus also said (Matthew 5:15). No one lights a candle and hides it under a bushel, right? It would defeat the entire purpose of light.' - Treasure Umoh

In this reflection, Treasure Umoh from Nigeria, a member of The Salvation Army’s International Children and Youth Advisory Group (ICYAG), explores what it truly means to be ‘light in the darkness’ and challenges us to live boldly and visibly for Christ. ➡️ https://alltheworld.salvationarmy.org/light-in-the-darkness/
