Rangers Church

Rangers Church Regular ways to enable participants to express faith, thanksgiving, hope and compassion for others Rangers Church is a new kind of faith group.

It’s not so much a place to go, as a network of people offering ways to focus on what’s most important in life, and to link with those, like themselves, who also might not otherwise be involved. Rangers Church is for all people, who want to explore how
to break free from things that hold us back, and how best to live our lives fully. Rangers Church is a church that includes those who wouldn't usua

lly go to church, and all in the crowd around Jesus who want to learn to follow in his footsteps. Rangers Church tries to build on the small steps that many, and not just Christians, already take that help to create the kind of ideal world that Jesus showed us. Rangers Church offers support to those who can help to reach out to others who might not otherwise have a chance to reflect or overcome significant barriers. Rangers Church offers many activities and ways to help people, to cope with challenges, enjoy good relationships, and to be creative. Rangers Church’s theologically trained pastors & qualified youth leaders especially provide opportunities for marginalised children, young people & young adults, such as those at risk of feeling left out, under-employed, bullied, or powerless. Particular examples of regular events and programmes include:
1. regular ways to enable participants to express faith, thanksgiving, hope
2. regular ways for young people to learn, & explore the relevance of faith
3. regular support for individual or family needs eg mentoring & advocacy.
4. regular opportunities for belonging, social interaction, & mutual support
5. regular training of those engaged in outreach & community involvement
6. regular activities to encourage social, physical or creative development
Rangers works in association with London Rangers FC & related training
& educational programmes, a collective of those engaged in Arts, Drama and
Music (‘ADAM’), and local family & community projects.

The choice is yours. The cure is simple. Correct your child! Do not let him get away with doing wrong in any matter. Tell him he is wrong. Teach him the right way. You brought him into this world knowing nothing, and his future and yours depends on you to show him the true and wise way. Reprove and rebuke him; then instruct and admonish him.

Faith is the essential element in our relationship with God. Jesus says that if you have faith, you can command a mountain to jump into the sea. He also taught them that they must ask in his name and that their prayers must be in accordance with God’s will. Still, another way he puts it is that if they remain in him, or abide in him, they can ask anything and it will be done for them (Jn 15:7).

Prayer is the great privilege of the child of God. It is simply amazing that we can come to God through Christ, and that he grants us to ask him for things. It is also a wonderful mystery that the Sovereign God of the universe has ordained that he accomplishes his will in part through our prayers. He has a plan that involves us sometimes coming to him to change his mind about something (Ex 32:14).

The question here is what does it mean to “believe that you have received it?” Many have employed positive thinking techniques when praying, only to be disappointed. And yet, this is a promise. All the teaching of Jesus on prayer taken together points to a life of abiding in Christ and living for his name, and in his name so that we can be in line with the will of God, and he will move us to pray the prayers we will have faith for, or will “believe we have received it.”

Verse Thoughts
The most important life-choice anyone will ever make is their response to this fundamental question, "choose today, Who you are going to serve." God or Satan, the spirit or the flesh, light or darkness, life or death, faith or fear, the truth or the lie... for its answer has both temporal considerations and eternal consequences.

Belief in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary's tree dictates life or death for the sinner. But for the man saved by grace, this foundational question deserves equally rigorous examination. This choice challenges the believer to examine himself to see if he is in the faith and trusting God - to see if he is walking in spirit and in truth and if Christ is all in all.

I cannot emphasize enough how this is one of my favorite verses about strength! In this passage, God reminds us in comforting words that He will always be with us. He encourages us not to be fearful, as He will uphold us with His righteous right hand, allowing us to stand firm. He tells us to put our faith in Him, and that can be a daunting task, as you never know what may be on the other side of the bridge. But God wants you to have faith in Him. He wants you to encourage yourself and gather strength to allow Him to walk with you. Besides, doesn’t it feel amazing to know that you aren’t in your struggles alone? To know that someone is willing to walk along the bridge with you?
