It’s not so much a place to go, as a network of people offering ways to focus on what’s most important in life, and to link with those, like themselves, who also might not otherwise be involved. Rangers Church is for all people, who want to explore how
to break free from things that hold us back, and how best to live our lives fully. Rangers Church is a church that includes those who wouldn't usua
lly go to church, and all in the crowd around Jesus who want to learn to follow in his footsteps. Rangers Church tries to build on the small steps that many, and not just Christians, already take that help to create the kind of ideal world that Jesus showed us. Rangers Church offers support to those who can help to reach out to others who might not otherwise have a chance to reflect or overcome significant barriers. Rangers Church offers many activities and ways to help people, to cope with challenges, enjoy good relationships, and to be creative. Rangers Church’s theologically trained pastors & qualified youth leaders especially provide opportunities for marginalised children, young people & young adults, such as those at risk of feeling left out, under-employed, bullied, or powerless. Particular examples of regular events and programmes include:
1. regular ways to enable participants to express faith, thanksgiving, hope
2. regular ways for young people to learn, & explore the relevance of faith
3. regular support for individual or family needs eg mentoring & advocacy.
4. regular opportunities for belonging, social interaction, & mutual support
5. regular training of those engaged in outreach & community involvement
6. regular activities to encourage social, physical or creative development
Rangers works in association with London Rangers FC & related training
& educational programmes, a collective of those engaged in Arts, Drama and
Music (‘ADAM’), and local family & community projects.
