93 Mortimer Street is a remarkable Grade II listed building in Fitzrovia, with a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Over the years it has served many roles, including a synagogue, the London Galvanic Hospital, and the German Athenaeum Club. In 2025, the building was reimagined by architect Sumayya Vally of Counterspace for the Kamel Lazaar Foundation, transforming it into Ibraaz, a cultural venue dedicated to art and ideas from the global majority.
