St Barnabas Church, Downham Welcome to the St Barnabas Downham page, here you will find all that goes on at our church. Our worship is modern catholic following Common Worship.

We are a lively, welcoming church located in the heart of the Downham Estate in the London Borough of Lewisham, near the borders with Bromley. We are part of the Catford (Southend) and Downham Team Ministry in the Diocese of Southwark. Our main service is a Sung Mass on Sunday mornings at 9.30 a.m. with Junior Church and followed by refreshments in the adjacent Church Hall. Other services are held

throughout the week and the church is usually open on Friday and Saturday mornings, providing a quiet space for prayer and reflection. We seek to serve our local community and show the love of God to everyone.
