Welcome! This month we focus on the power of Jesus
to heal and how he rewards our faith.
Read-Luke 17:11-19. We have the example of Jesus and
His word to the L***r who returned.
“ Jesus asked, ‘Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?’ Then he said to him, ‘Rise and go; your faith has made you well.’ Luke 17:17/19
🙏🙏🙏Father God Thank you for sending Jesus to show us what faith can achieve. Help us follow the example of the one rather than the nine and try to accept and remember You has a plan for each of us. Thank you for loving us even when we forget your love.

Challenge: Try each day to think of three(or more) things to thank God for. Especially tasks that have challenged us.

August 2026 Prayer Focus
Welcome, this month we focus on God’s willingness to save us. Because Noah believed he and his family(8 of them)were saved. Read- Genesis 6:9–9:17. We are lucky we do not need to wait for a flood to be saved, because WE KNOW JESUS!
“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. … and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:37/39
🙏🙏🙏Father God Thank you for sending Jesus to be our saviour. If we acknowledge Him we accept His grace and loving care. We know we are forgiven and saved. Amen
Challenge: During any upcoming holidays consider, is there anything you can do to save someone or a family from hardship? Can you donate to a family, charity or foodbank?

Welcome, this month we focus on taking time to be with God. Keeping the 7th day to spend time with Him
We find this message in Genesis 1 & 2
Genesis 2:2-3 “By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.”
🙏🙏🙏Father God you gave us so much in this your created world. Help us to be ever mindful of your love always and take time on the Sabbath to worship you and remember how much we are loved. Amen

Challenge: To look around us and be aware of the world we live in and be thankful, and to do our best to care for it.
Try to recycle more.

Welcome, this month we focus on the changes God can he make in us, as he changed 6 water jars into very fine wine at a wedding in Cana.
We find the story in John2:1-11
John 2:11 NIV “What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him”.
🙏🙏🙏Jesus you helped the wedding by changing water into wine we ask that you help us be changed into the person you want us to be. We ask for guidance and courage to do what is needed. Amen

Challenge: To use prayer frequently to ask for help to know the best way to behave and to seek solace in God’s Word.

May 2026 Prayer Focus
Welcome, this month we are reminded that God feeds us. Remember He fed 5,000 with only 5 loves and 2 fish.
We find the story in Matthew and John.
Matthew14:20 NIV “ They all ate and were satisfied,”
But Jesus also told Peter to “Feed my sheep” John21:15
🙏🙏🙏Jesus we know you feed us both spiritually and physically, thank you for our daily bread. You asked us to feed your sheep, help us to seek ways to do this in a world crippled by war and want. To help where we can by prayer, words and deeds. Amen

Challenge: Can you donate food to those in need. A foodbank or collection in a supermarket or a charity of your choice?

April 2026 Prayer Focus
Welcome, this month we are reminded to read the 4 Gospels as they tell of God’s infinite love for us.
Romans1:16-17 NIV “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed..”

🙏🙏🙏Loving Father we thank you for the opportunity to read the true story of your love in sending your Son to save us. We thank Jesus for the sacrifice made to save us and deeply ask that we prove worthy. Amen

Challenge: Read the Easter story in all four gospels, what can you learn from the similarities and differences?

March 2026 Prayer Focus
Welcome, this month we are being asked to think about the three persons who make 1 God.
Matthew 28:19:
Jesus commands his disciples to baptise "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit".
🙏🙏🙏Loving Jesus we thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to be alongside us in all we do. We know when your Father sent you to save us, you became the ultimate sacrifice and died for us. We ask for your continued guidance in all we do. In your name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen
REMEMBER the word Trinity does not appear in the bible, but it is made real at the baptism of Jesus.(Matthew 3:16-17)
Challenge: As we travel through Lent how can you show the love you received from the Trinity to others?
Prayer Focus 2026 Numbers
This year we are going to use numbers to help our prayer and understanding of the Bible.
Not the book of Numbers – although a great read – but numbers as they appear throughout the stories and books of the Bible. How can they help us focus on understanding the word of God?
Matthew 4:4 “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God ”.
