March 2026 Prayer Focus
Welcome, this month we are being asked to think about the three persons who make 1 God.
Matthew 28:19:
Jesus commands his disciples to baptise "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit".
🙏🙏🙏Loving Jesus we thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to be alongside us in all we do. We know when your Father sent you to save us, you became the ultimate sacrifice and died for us. We ask for your continued guidance in all we do. In your name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen
REMEMBER the word Trinity does not appear in the bible, but it is made real at the baptism of Jesus.(Matthew 3:16-17)
Challenge: As we travel through Lent how can you show the love you received from the Trinity to others?
Prayer Focus 2026 Numbers
This year we are going to use numbers to help our prayer and understanding of the Bible.
Not the book of Numbers – although a great read – but numbers as they appear throughout the stories and books of the Bible. How can they help us focus on understanding the word of God?
Matthew 4:4 “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God ”.

Something we should strive for all the time, now is a good time to get in the practice.

Today is Ash Wednesday, for many this means giving up meat, chocolate or something they love. It's seeing people with crosses on their foreheads or the day after we enjoy pancakes.
Whether you "do" Lent or not, consider the way Jesus gave up everything for us. This time leading up to Easter is a time to reflect, a time to remember what He gave up and our own ambitions to grow closer to God.

February 2026 Prayer Focus
Welcome, this month we are beginning to
look at the two Bible Testaments.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV“ All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in
righteousness, so that the servant of God may be
thoroughly equipped for every good work”.
🙏🙏🙏 Father we thank you for your word. We pray for the strength to understand and live it’s lessons. To accept it and use what we learn to help those around us. Amen
REMEMBER Jesus said in Luke 24:44 “Everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled”
Consider :St. Augustine of Hippo (354–430 AD). Summarised the relationship between the Testaments as: "The New is in the Old concealed, the Old is in the New revealed".

January 2026 Prayer Focus

Welcome to a new year, this month we are reminded that there is only one true God
Deuteronomy 6:4 (ERV)
“People of Israel! The Lord is our God. The Lord is the only God”.
🙏🙏🙏 Father we thank you for all the love you show us, even when we fail to follow your word. We pray for the strength to understand your love, to accept it and use what we learn to help those around us. Amen
REMEMBER Jesus said in Mark12:29-30“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one…”
Challenge: Read 1 Timothy2:1-7 and pray on what you read.

Sunday's service was a little different, we had a story time with the lovely Christmas story " The Grumpy Owl and the Joy of Christmas" by Jonathon Maltz and Christopher Poch. We enjoyed snack time and sat in a circle, enjoyed song time and carols. With a message to take the joy of Christmas into the new year. We need to listen to the word of Jesus and know that he He will walk beside us through all we do, no matter what we face.
