My Dear Parishioners,

This weekend, we reflect on the Gospel of Jesus walking on the water and reaching out to save the sinking Peter. Like Peter, we can become overwhelmed by the storms of life. When we take our eyes off Jesus and focus only on our fears, worries, and problems, we begin to sink. But when we keep our gaze fixed on Christ and trust in His loving presence, He stretches out His hand to lift us up. Whatever storms you may be facing, never lose sight of Jesus. He is always near, ready to strengthen, guide, and save us.

I love you all, and you are always in my prayers.

God bless you and your families.

My Dear Parishioners,

In this Sunday's Gospel, the Lord Jesus Christ blessed the little that the disciples had to offer, and it became more than enough, with even a surplus remaining. May the Lord likewise bless all that we have to offer for our troubled world, so that it may become a source of hope, healing, and abundant blessings for others.

Happy New Month to you all! May this new month bring you and your loved ones God's peace, good health, and abundant grace.

Please be assured of my continued prayers for each of you.

I love you all.

My dear Parishioners,

What is your treasure?

Christ invites us today to look at our lives with honesty and sincerity. Is there anything that captures our hearts and demands our greatest attention? So often, even as a priest, I find myself wanting to follow Christ, but only as one value among many. We all desire life in the Kingdom of Heaven, yet we are not always willing to make Christ the very centre of our lives.

Today, the Lord invites each of us to place Him above all else, for where our treasure is, there our heart will be also.

I love you all.

My Dear Parishioners

As we celebrate the feast of our patroness, let us ask ourselves a simple question: Do I recognise the voice of Jesus when He calls me? Like Mary Magdalen, may we seek Him with faithful hearts, remain close to Him even in times of sorrow, and joyfully proclaim to the world that Christ is risen. May St. Mary Magdalen inspire our parish to become a community of faithful disciples and courageous witnesses to the hope of the Resurrection.

Happy Feast Day to you all, and may St. Mary Magdalen continue to intercede for our parish.

My dear Parishioners,

Today we reflect on the power of God's Word.

The first reading from Isaiah offers a wonderfully beautiful image of the power of God's Word. Just as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and nourish the earth, making it fruitful and giving life, so too God's Word has the power to transform our hearts and our world. It never returns empty but accomplishes the purpose for which God sends it.

May we open our hearts to receive His Word with faith and allow it to shape our lives. As true servants of the Lord, may we bring God's love, hope, and peace to everyone we meet.

I love you all.

My Dear Parishioners,

Our Lord says, "I am gentle and humble of heart." These words invite us to look to Him as the perfect example of how we are to live. The Scriptures this week remind us that true greatness is found not in power or recognition, but in growing each day in gentleness, humility, and love.

As we seek to follow Christ more closely, may we allow His gentle and humble heart to shape our thoughts, our words, and our actions, so that His love may be reflected in the way we live and serve one another.

I love you all.

My dear Parishioners,

This Sunday, the Church invites us to celebrate the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. Because of the great importance of these two pillars of the Church, their feast replaces the usual Sunday readings and celebration.

As we honour these two great apostles, we are also reminded of our own call to follow Jesus and to share Him with others. Each of us is called to witness to the Lord in our own way. For some, this will be through speaking openly about our faith; for others, it will be through the quiet witness of a faithful and loving life.

Whatever form our witness takes, it must always begin in the heart with our own confession of faith:

"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

May Saints Peter and Paul pray for us and help us to be faithful disciples of Jesus.

I love you all.

My dear Parishioners,

In the Gospel, Christ reminds us that our greatest concern should not be those who can harm us materially, but those things that endanger our souls. Yet in our modern world, our fears are often focused on material loss, security, and comfort, while the reality of the soul is too easily forgotten.

As Christians, we are called to keep our eyes fixed on what is eternal. Let us ask the Lord for the grace to care for our souls above all else and to place our trust in Him rather than in the passing things of this world.

I love you all.

My Dear Parishioners,

Today’s readings invite us to reflect on our own lives and on the life of our faith community. We are called to bring every difficult situation to God in prayer, asking Him to reveal His will to us. We are encouraged to pray for those who are sick, seeking God’s healing grace for them while trusting in His loving plan. We are even challenged to pray for the faithful departed.

Above all, we are called to seek God’s will in everything that happens to us and in all that we do, striving with all our strength to follow where He leads. Let us give thanks to the Lord for His loving presence in our lives and pray that we may always be aware of the eagle’s wings upon which He carries us and holds us high.

I love you all.
