What an accomplishment sorting the garden at the vicarage today- the sun shone down on us and we weeded and mowed and mowed and weeded! ☀️💪
Only one ‘before’ photo, but very proud of the work done today.
Thank you to those who tackled the car park and the allotments.
Thanks to Rod for preparing the lovely lunch, it was so welcome 😋
Many hands make light work!
If you fancy joining our gardening club, enjoying fellowship and a great lunch, see you next week! 🌻☀️🪏

St Margaret's
A big thank you to the enthusiastic group who met on 25th April at St Margaret's Church to carry out a litterpicking session in Uxbridge. Reverend Tina Rapson joined MP Danny Beales and we set off in small groups to different areas. Ruth Amin and Amin Amin had organised tea and coffee with snacks on their return. 11 bags were filled and we hope this has helped to improve the environment in Uxbridge.

A post from St. Margaret’s eco group:
At the Allotment where we grow flowers and vegetables, (taking care to avoid pesticides whilst encouraging wild flowers) we recently had some new arrivals.
The bird box which we installed last year has a family of blue t**s nesting in it.
This was the best we could do in capturing an adult bird entering the bird box!

Another fine day in the garden, clearing and cleaning.
Along with the practical tasks, it was great to have open conversations about our journies of faith over ham & cheese croissants.
