By human nature we immediately think that when we struggle, God is turning his back towards us. We relate struggle or misfortune to the absence of God. This is in fact a false narrative. WALK BY FAITH!

Feelings can warn us, inspire us, and reveal what matters deeply to us, but they should not be the sole measure of reality. Wisdom comes from learning to acknowledge emotions without surrendering our thinking to them. When truth and emotion seem to conflict, maturity is found in pausing long enough to discern which voice deserves to lead. Have you ever felt like God has forgotten you? That His promises for your life seem like a distant dream just out of your grasp or like a fairytale that has little to nothing to do with the reality you are experiencing? These times where God seems silent, are exactly the times where God does His most delicate work in our hearts in order to fulfil His plan in our lives. Because in every situation, God is still saying something! Silence doesn’t mean absence! God never stops working for us and there is nothing more ridiculous than to allow your present situation to cause you to doubt the fulfilment of God’s Word or promises for your life....

Whereas, trusting God does not mean not planning at all, but rather planning and allowing God to direct you.
