The Prophet ﷺ said: “indeed, this is a day of eating, drinking and remembering Allah.”

Allah has legislated for this day to be celebrated by the believers.

May Allah open the doors of joy, happiness and prosperity for you and your family

Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Messenger n said, "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd
nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."
Sahih Al-Bukhari 2017

Make The Most Of Laylatul al-Qadr

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said: "O you who has wasted the years of his life, there is nothing that will amend those lost and wasted years except for the night of Al-Qadr, for verily its value is equivalent to that of a lifetime." [Lata'if al-Ma'aarif by Ibn Rajab, p. 191]

As we enter the last 10 days of Ramadhan, I wanted to specially make this du'a for you.

May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى record your name amongst those who will be forgiven. Aameen.

May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى accept all your Du'as and widen your Rizq with lots of Barakah. Aameen.

May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى grant you the strength to fulfil your obligations to the best of your ability and confirm your entry into the highest rank in JANNAH by HIS Mercy. Aameen.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

‏ مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ فِي أَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ ‏"

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA):

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)"

Sahih al-Bukhari 1903

This shows that it's not about abstaining from food and drink rather to get rid of desires and bad habits... may الله make us from those who have rectified their actions from His Sake and His Sake Alone. Ameen

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.

Al-Baqarah, Ayah 183

Tafsir Ibn Al Kathir

The Order to Fast:

In an address to the believers of this Ummah, Allah ordered them to fast, that is, to abstain from food, drink and sexual activity with the intention of doing so sincerely for Allah the Exalted alone. This is because fasting purifies the souls and cleanses them from the evil that might mix with them and their ill behavior. Allah mentioned that He has ordained fasting for Muslims just as He ordained it for those before them, they being an example for them in that, so they should vigorously perform this obligation more obediently than the previous nations.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ يَعْرِضُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّ عَامٍ مَرَّةً فَعَرَضَ عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ فِي الْعَامِ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ

Abu Huraira (May الله be Pleased With Him) reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would review the Quran once every year in Ramadan and he reviewed it twice in the year he passed away.

Al-Awza’i reported: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him, would supplicate when the month of Ramdan arrived, “O Allah, secure me for Ramadan, secure Ramadan for me, and receive my deeds with acceptance.”

عن ابن عباس رضى الله عنهما قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ أَجْوَدُ مَا يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ وَكَانَ يَلْقَاهُ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَيُدَارِسُهُ القُرْآنَ فَلَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَجْوَدُ بِالخَيْرِ مِنَ الرِّيحِ المُرْسَلَةِ

Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was the most generous of people and he was even more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel would meet him. He would meet him every night of Ramadan to study the Quran. Thus, the Prophet would be more generous than a nourishing wind.

Giving charity in this month is priceless. Give charity consistently to help those less fortunate than yourselves from our Ummah. May الله accept your good deeds.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَنْ أَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ نَاسِيًا فَلاَ يُفْطِرْ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ رَزَقَهُ اللَّهُ ‏"

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully, then he has not broken (the fast), for it was only a provision that Allah provided for him." Jami`at-Tirmidhi 721

All about the intention...may الله make us of those who has forgiven during this month...Ameen
