An annual concert of Australian music performed by some of the finest musicians living in the UK will be presented at St. George’s, Hanover Square, London, one of Mayfair’s most glamorous churches. Thoroughly enjoyed the 'Pax Musica' concert last weekend on 14 Feb 2026; it is a pleasure just being in Trinity College and the sun shone for once! This was a collaboration between Celebrating Australian Music (CAM) and Trinity College Music Society whose senior organ scholar Augustine Cox can be seen conducting in this photo. Aisling Martin played the violin solo accompaniment to my 'Love Falls' beautifully (pictured here at the rehearsal). Many thanks to Gus for all his hard work, and The British Music Society Charitable Trust and The Pitfield Trust for supporting this evening of Australian and British choral works.

It is always a great joy to have the opportunity to work with Australian cellist Coral Lancaster. On Monday 21 July 2025 in central Oxford Celebrating Australian Music presents Australian works: my 'Songline', Sculthorpe's 'Threnody', and the UK premiere of John Wayne Dixon's 'Giverny Idylle', alongside British music: Cello Sonatina by Thomas Pitfield and 'Folk Tale' by Arnold Bax. We are most grateful for support from The Pitfield Trust for this event, and the continued support from the Australian publisher Wirripang. PS. the cover illustration is by Pitfield
