We are pleased to share with you the online exhibition for the Wren300 City Full of People project. This project focuses on four different London parishes: St Bride’s, St Vedast, St Martin Ludgate, and St Botolph’s without Aldgate. It investigates the lives of long-forgotten people who lived in London during the time of Wren’s rebuilding programme (1666 - 1726).
The exhibition delves into several themes, such as 'Difference, Discrimination, and Violence', 'Feeding the City', and 'A City of Diversity', among others. There are many interesting stories about the Londoners who inhabited the city during this turbulent time to uncover!

Marking Wren’s 300 anniversary, volunteers have researched some of the craftspeople and residents who took part in or witnessed the rebuilding. Follow the stories and threads of these people’s lives who might otherwise be overlooked in the pages of history.
