A Prayer for today
🙏
God is my friend, my brother, my sister, my parent, God is all .
He holds me in the palm of my hand,
He is my rock and my safe place,
He puts his hand upon my shoulder when I am afraid
He mends my heart when it is broken,
He brings me peace of mind when I am anxious.
He heals my inner and outer being.
God is my source and my answer,
He is my bread when I am starving, he is my water when I am thirsty.
The oasis in my desert.
He is my inspiration and initiator of my actions.
God is the reason why, God is here, God is there, God is everywhere, God is everything.
Amen

Dear Lord,
Hear our prayer for the Earth and Mankind, help us to rescue the wretched, the abandoned and the forgotten of this earth, so precious in your eyes. May we protect the world and not prey on it, that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction.
Let us treasure this globe of life,
And respect the wonder of it’s diversity and intricacy. From the smallest of creatures to the largest, from the tiniest of flowers to the immensity of mountain ranges. The rivers, the seas and the oceans and all that live below and above.
God give us the strength and determination to rescue this planet.
Through your son and our saviour
Jesus Christ. Amen
