SEPTEMBER SHOEBOX COLLECTION

This month we are asking for stationery items - notebooks, pencils, pens etc.

This is a great time to find a bargain as Scottish schools have gone back, and colleges and universities are about to restart so supermarkets are clearing the last of their seasonal
stock.

If you are able to help us fill the boxes this year, please come along and drop in on Wednesdays 23rd and 30th September between 1pm and 4pm. Your help is very much appreciated and of course, there’s always a cuppa on offer!

CELTIC WORSHIP: THEN SINGS MY SOUL Saturday 8th August 7:30-10pm (doors open from 7 pm)

Charlotte Chapel on Shandwick Place in Edinburgh are hosting a night of psalms, hymns and Spiritual songs from Celtic Worship. Beloved and widely known hymns will be combined with the uniquely powerful sound of pipes and fiddle for a brilliant night of Scottish worship.

After the Summer break we are hoping to start a Women’s group for Bible Study and Fellowship. This is likely to be a monthly meet-up and at this point it would be great to identify interest and get an idea of what day, and time might be the most suitable.
