This coming Sunday 13th September is Sheri and Dave's final service with us at 10am Holy Trinity Lickey followed by a lunch at the Trinity Centre (if you are yet to sign up for lunch and hope to be there please message [email protected] before Thursday.)

This coming Sunday we have a combined communion service at St Catherine’s church, Blackwell starting st 10am. This will be the last service that Sheri our vicar will preside at in Blackwell before she moves to take up her new post in October. There will be another opportunity to say bye bye to her on the following Sunday at Holy Trinity church, Lickey.

We've all missed it - we return weekly on Monday 7th September 10:30am-12noon with Coffee, Cake and Chat at Holy Trinity Church, if you are reading this, we'd love to see you there. There are usually between 25 - 35 of us - many of us didn't know each other when we came for the first time, we make sure the space is large enough and that there are people to chat with you over delicious home made cake. Its a community coffee morning, open to everyone.

Next week the fortnightly exercise class restarts.

Sunday 6th September
During our 10am service at St Catherine we'll be marking Back to School Sunday. The service is one of Holy Communion, there are groups for children and as Revd Sheri enters her final week with us this is her final service at St Catherine.

At 4pm in Holy Trinity is our Informal first of the month evening worship with live band, Revd Sheri is preaching here also.

Revd Sheri has visited all four educational settings in our parish this morning to drop in chocolate and to remind them of our love and prayers as they begin the new academic year.
We really value our links with Lickey Hills Primary School and Nursery, Wendy House Nursery, Blackwell Montessori Nursery and Blackwell First School and this is just one of the ways we demonstrate that.

This Sunday during our 10am service at St Catherine we'll be praying for all of our children and staff as well as those who volunteers as governors and readers in school. We'll be offering backpack blessings to those who are with us. We'd love to see you there.
