DS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM VISITS MIDLANDS CHARGE

The DS in Residence Program makes a significant stop in the Midlands Charge, with Birmingham United Methodist Church serving as the first host local church.

The District Superintendent, Reverend KH Mudambanuki together with amai, Patience Mudambanuki will be welcomed by the congregation under the leadership of Pastor Nesbert Mhondoro, the Pastor-in-Charge, assisted by pastor Patience Magomo. The visit marks a meaningful time of fellowship, spiritual guidance, and encouragement for the local church.

Members of the church will have the opportunity to host the District leadership, as the program continues to strengthen unity, pastoral support, and mission focus across the district.
The spirit of togetherness and hospitality displayed so far reflects the words of Hebrews 13:2, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers…”, and the unity experienced echoes Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

As the program continues to move across the district, it remains a vital initiative in building the body of Christ, as encouraged in Ephesians 4:12, “to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”

The UKD will never be the same again. To God be the glory.

RESIDENT DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT VISITATION PROGRAM [ 2026 ]

The Resident District Superintendent, Reverend KH Mudambanuki and amai P. Mudambanuki (UKD Women’s Ministry Coordinator), officially commenced the 2026 District Superintendent’s visitation program with a successful launch in the North Charge. The charge is under the leadership of Reverend Keith Sengwayo, ably assisted by Pastor James Nhira.
The visitation covered several local congregations, including Doncaster, Leeds, Liverpool, and concluded in Newcastle on Palm Sunday 🌴. These services provided an opportunity for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual strengthening across the charge.

Accompanying the DS during these visits were the District Lay Leaders, Mr J. Kapumha and Mrs R. Mojapelo. The COS Associate, Mrs T. Mateta, also joined in some of the engagements, contributing to the success of the program.
These meet-and-greet services formed part of the broader assessment and evaluation of the 2026 redemarcation process. Reverend Mudambanuki personally ministered in most of the services, gaining firsthand insight into the state and growth of the church on the ground.
The district continues to experience encouraging growth, highlighting the importance of sustaining momentum through strategic planning and continued spiritual nurturing.

The North Charge visitation culminated in a blessed Palm Sunday service in Newcastle, where the DS preached and administered Holy Communion.

The visitation program now moves forward, with focus shifting to the Midlands Charge for the months of April and May. Midlands charge covers 5local churches, namely, Crewe, Coventry, Birmingham, Bristol and Wolverhampton.
To God be the glory, we say EBENEZER 🙏 .

EASTER REVIVAL WITH THE RESIDENT DS – REV. KUDZANAI HONOURABLE MUDAMBANUKI

It was truly a historic and Spirit-filled occasion. For the first time, the district experienced Easter Revivals under a fully established structure—transitioning from a mission area into a district with a substantive District Superintendent. This marked a significant shift from the traditional family gatherings to organized revival services across the charges. To God be the glory!

This new development came with many blessings. Numerous local preachers were given the opportunity to minister across the district, showcasing the growth and spiritual depth within our communities. Charges from the North, Midlands, Scotland, and the Republic of Ireland gathered individually, while the South and North Central charges united under one tent. Likewise, the Central South and North charges also came together in fellowship and worship.

The Resident DS, Rev. Kudzanai Honourable Mudambanuki, graced several of these gatherings. He attended the Good Friday service in the North Charge, and proceeded to minister in the Midlands and Central South charges on Saturday. He delivered opening devotions in both the North and Midlands charges, setting a powerful spiritual tone for the revival services.
He was accompanied by the District Lay Leaders, Mr. J. Kapumha and Mrs. R. Mojapelo, whose presence and support were invaluable throughout the gatherings.

Indeed, the district continues to grow from strength to strength, and this Easter Revival stands as a powerful testimony of that growth.
Ebenezer—thus far the Lord has helped us!

All Night Easter Revival, 4-5 April 2026

Theme: “Behold, I will do a new thing…” — Isaiah 43:19

In sacred remembrance of the sacrificial love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Scotland Charge gathered for a powerful and spirit-filled All Night Easter Revival, held under the prophetic theme from Isaiah 43:19:
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.”

From the commencement of the service until the early hours of the morning, the presence of God was undeniably evident. The sanctuary was filled with worshippers who came in great numbers to commemorate the death, sacrifice, and resurrection victory of Christ. Truly, the Lord did exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think, as lives were touched and hearts renewed through His divine presence.

We were greatly honoured by the attendance of Mrs Rugare Mojapelo and Mr Mojapelo, whose presence added grace and fellowship to this blessed gathering.

The night opened with a deeply anointed devotion by our Pastor in Charge, Reverend Tafadzwa Elizabeth Musona, titled “Panobudika.” This opening message powerfully prepared the atmosphere for a night of divine visitation and spiritual renewal.

This was followed by a moving sermon from our guest preacher, Mr Munashe Mujati, titled “Nemavanga Ake Takaporeswa.” Through this message, the church was reminded of the healing, redemption, and salvation made possible through the wounds and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

A special highlight of the evening was the beautiful ministry by the CYM, who presented an inspiring Easter play that vividly reflected the passion, death, and resurrection of Christ. Their ministry deeply touched the congregation and reinforced the message of hope and redemption.

The Word continued powerfully through Mr Simon Matara, who delivered a thought-provoking sermon titled “Remember Me, O Lord.” This message called the church to self-introspection, accountability, and a sincere cry for divine remembrance and mercy.

Thereafter, Mr Chipo Gift Kanyenze ministered under the theme “Abundant Life in Jesus,” encouraging the congregation to embrace both faith and responsibility in order to fully walk in the abundant life promised through Christ.

Later in the night, Mr Munashe Mujati returned with another powerful message, emphasizing the authority and power found in the name of Jesus Christ. This was followed by a deeply moving healing service, during which the power of God was tangibly manifested through prayer and ministry.

The service concluded on a powerful note through the ministry of Mrs Mutsa Makunike, who declared “Magwaro adzimwa.” Truly, through the cross, every accusation was cancelled, chains were broken, and victory was proclaimed in Christ Jesus.

This All Night Easter Revival will remain a cherished moment in the life of Scotland Charge — a night marked by worship, healing, restoration, and renewed faith in the risen Lord.

To God be all the glory for a blessed and unforgettable Easter Revival. Christ died, Christ is risen, and Christ lives forevermore.
