These talks present ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbbās (r.a.) as a young yet remarkable scholar. His close companionship with the Prophet ﷺ played an important role in his development. His sincerity and strong desire for knowledge distinguished him and earned him great respect among the companions.

These talks also show that the knowledge of ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbbās (r.a.) was accompanied by humility and action. He served others and lived by what he learned. His life shows that true knowledge shapes character and leads to service and it inspires others to follow his example.
