Happy St Wistan's Day. May all those joining pilgrimage from Wistow today from 9.15 at Wistow have meaningful encounters journeying through the beauty of South Leicestershire's countryside. Thanks to our walk leader Ian Coward and Pilgrimage host Ed Kennedy. A Prayer for today-Almighty God

By whose grace and power

Your faithful martyr Wistan

Was slain for righteousness

Choosing a holy life over worldly power

Strengthen us through his example

That in your grace we may seek your kingdom first

Faithfully witnessing to your divine majesty

And sovereignty over the earth and heaven

Through Jesus Christ your son, our Lord
