📚 REMINDER: Madrasah Open Evening — TONIGHT

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

A friendly reminder that our *Madrasah Open Evening is taking place TONIGHT, Friday 4 September*, between *Maghrib and Isha*, insha’Allah.

As we prepare to launch the new Beaumont Leys Masjid Madrasah on *Monday 14 September 2026, the Open Evening will be an opportunity to:

💬 Share your feedback and suggestions

Sisters are also welcome to attend. A dedicated space will be arranged for sisters in the main prayer hall, with appropriate separation, so that they can benefit from the presentation and ask any questions.

We encourage all parents who are interested in enrolling their children, or simply wish to find out more about the Madrasah, to attend.

📚 Madrasah Parents’ Evening

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

As we prepare to launch the new Beaumont Leys Masjid Madrasah on Monday 14 September 2026, we are pleased to invite parents to a Madrasah Parents’ Evening.

The evening will take place on Friday 4 September, between Maghreb and Ishaa, insha’Allah.

This will be an opportunity for parents to meet the Madrasah team, learn more about the programme and arrangements, ask any questions, and share their feedback.

We look forward to welcoming all parents who are interested in enrolling their child or finding out more about the Madrasah.

Alhamdulillah, registration is now open at Shatibiy Institute for the 2026–2027 academic year.

📖 Courses:

Advanced Islamic Studies — five-year curriculum in the Islamic sciences, this year studying 'Umdat al-Ahkam
Foundations of Islamic Knowledge — one-year course in manners, remembrance, fiqh, tafseer and the Forty Hadith of Imam al-Nawawi
Arabic for Non-Native Speakers — beginner to intermediate, using Al-'Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk

📚 New Madrasah at Beaumont Leys Masjid

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We are pleased to announce that Beaumont Leys Masjid Madrasah will begin on Monday 14 September 2026, insha’Allah.

Our Madrasah is committed to providing a nurturing, purposeful environment where children are encouraged to know, love, and live by the Qur’an and Sunnah. With quality teaching, clear expectations and care for every pupil, we aim to help children grow in Qur’an memorisation, Islamic knowledge, good character and confidence.

The Madrasah will run Monday to Thursday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and is open to primary-school-aged boys and girls.

Places are available, but limited. Parents can find full details and register their child via our website: blmuslims.org/services-madrasah.html

An open evening will be held next week giving parents the opportunity to meet the Madrasah team, receive further details, ask any questions and share their feedback. The date will be communicated shortly, insha’Allah.

May Allah ﷻ place barakah in this new beginning, benefit our children through it, and make them from those attached to the Qur’an and Sunnah.

📢 Shatibiy Institute – 2026–2027 Courses 📢

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

Alhamdulillāh, registration is now open at Shatibiy Institute for the 2026–2027 academic year.

📚 Courses offered:

•⁠ ⁠Advanced Islamic Studies – A structured five-year curriculum in the Islamic sciences for Advanced Students (such as Imams, Teachers, ...), continuing this year with the study of ‘Umdat al-Aḥkām.
•⁠ ⁠Foundations of Islamic Knowledge – A one-year course covering manners and remembrance, fiqh, tafseer, and the Forty Hadith of Imam al-Nawawi.

🎓 A Successful Graduation — Shatibiy Institute 🎓

Assalamu alaykum Beaumont Leys Masjid Community,

Alhamdulillah, we are delighted to share that our students' graduation from the Shatibiy Institute was a beautiful and successful evening! 📖✨

After months of dedication, perseverance, and sincere effort, our students have completed their courses — and we could not be prouder of all they have achieved. Congratulations to each and every one of our graduates! 🎉

We ask Allah to accept their efforts, to make them people of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and to allow them to benefit their families, their community, and the Ummah. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Shaykh, Imam Zakaria, and all the teachers whose tireless efforts made this achievement possible.

🎉 A Wonderful Community Fun Day! 🎉

Dear Beaumont Leys Masjid Community,

Alhamdulillah, our Community Fun Day was a tremendous success! We were delighted to welcome over 500 people - families and children of all ages - who joined us for a joyful day together. 🎈✨

The bouncy castles, games, and fun activities brought smiles and laughter all around, and the atmosphere was filled with a beautiful sense of community spirit. We were also pleased to feed all our guests, with fresh pizza handed out throughout the day. 🍕

A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who worked so hard to make the day a success, to our beloved community for coming together so warmly, and to the Beaumont Leys Ward and Abbey Ward Councillors for funding this event through Community Ward Funding (Leicester City Council).

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Your smile in the face of your brother is charity." (Tirmidhi)
