EAST SUSSEX WOMEN OF THE YEAR LUNCH

We are very proud of Sue (left) and Alison (right) from St Mary’s, and Sandra (centre) from Catsfield and Crowhurst churches who were guests at the lunch held at the American Express Stadium in Brighton last week. The event celebrated the contributions, achievements, and inspiration of women across the county. Congratulations to all. 👏

ASCENSION DAY

is the 40th day of Easter. It occurs 39 days after Easter Sunday. It is the day in the Christian calendar that commemorates Jesus Christ's ascension into heaven.

The Church of the Ascension, Telham celebrates their Patronal Festival this evening with Choral Evensong at 6pm followed by refreshments.

Later this year, as the 150th anniversary celebrations begin, there will be an organ recital by Mr Jamie Rogers who is the Assistant Director of Music at Canterbury Cathedral on Friday, 24 July at 12.30pm and tickets will be available for a suggested donation of £10. COMMISSIONING OF AUTHORISED LAY MINISTERS

112 people from the Chichester Diocese were commissioned by Bishop Ruth as A.L.M’s on Saturday at Chichester Cathedral. Four were from St Mary’s: Clive. Margaret, Angie and Vikki.
