A picture of Leonard Town at his butcher’s shop on Front Street, Skirlaugh. Behind him is a poster of a Grand Tour of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, which took place in July 1904 on Walton Street, Hull. The troupe of 800 men and 500 horses re-imagined the Battle of Little Big Horn, brought to life ‘Indian War Dances’, a hold-up, an attack on a train and other ‘Romantic Scenes of Pioneer Life on the Plains’.
