St.Andrews Together Rekindling St.Andrews Kingsbury: community events, concerts, volunteering, heritagate walks

Our historic Grade II* listed church is starting a new project to open-up and "rekindle" the church’s relationship with the wider local communities. We will open our doors and welcome in everybody to explore the significant church building and offer their thoughts and suggestions on how it can better serve and support the community in our part of Brent. Over the next 6 months we will pilot several

activities:

- A community Singalong;
- Open Day with heritage talks and walks and family activities: 8 July 2023 (click here for more information and to book - Eventbrite);
- Inter-generational conversations

A walk around St Andrew's historic , led by Irina Porter, local historian and London Blue Badge guide. We will look at the enchanting old memorials and reveal stories behind some interesting people buried there and see how an old churchyard can be a welcoming green space, for people, as well as wildlife.
