On Sunday, 28 June, we celebrated the confirmation of Marianne. We wish her God's richest blessings as she continues her journey of faith.

After the divine service, the congregation shared in a lovely fellowship lunch, generously organised by Marianne's family.

Our congregation was truly blessed this morning to welcome two retired District Apostles from South Africa, District Apostle Barnes and District Apostle Kriel, to our Divine Service.

It was a joy too to have them remain after the service to spend time with our members, sharing in warm fellowship and conversation. Their visit was greatly appreciated by everyone who had the opportunity to meet with them.

We wish District Apostle Barnes, District Apostle Kriel, and their families God's richest blessings, safe travels during their time in the UK, and a safe journey as they return home 🙏🏻

Today our London Central Congregation came together for our Family Fun Walk from church to St James's Park in support of our youth as they prepare for their Camino Spiritual Walk in Spain later this year.

It was a blessing to see so many members, families, and friends walking side by side, enjoying God's beautiful creation, sharing laughter, and strengthening our bonds as a congregation. The afternoon picnic was a perfect way to celebrate togetherness and community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, organised, and supported this special fundraiser. Every step taken today brings our youth one step closer to their Camino journey.

A quick update regarding Sunday’s big family Walk:

📍 Assembly Point: Front of the church
⏰ Departure Time: 11:40am (allowing time after service for anyone wishing to change into walking attire)

The walk to St James’s Park is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. Stewards will be positioned at the front, middle, and back of the group to help keep everyone together.

If you’re unable to join the walk, please don’t let that stop you from joining us for the picnic at St James’s Park. You are welcome to travel with Pr Francois via public transport or make your own way there.

Please bring some food and drinks to share for the picnic. It will be a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and spending time together.

Finally, thank you for your generous donations and continued support towards the Youth Camino Trip. Donations remain open for anyone who would still like to contribute.

Sunday 17 May 2026 – Apostle Service

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, our Apostle conducted a blessed Divine Service where all Rectors from the South Region were invited to attend.

During the service, 1 soul received Holy Baptism and 3 souls were sealed. We also rejoice as a congregation in the appointment of Rector Astone Davids as Assistant District Rector for the region.

The service concluded beautifully with a powerful rendition by the choir of HC 138 – “The Lord God Reigneth”.

We thank God for His grace, blessings, and guidance upon His work 🙏

Our London Central Youth are planning on doing the Camino spiritual Walk this October! It’s a 120km spiritual journey in Northern Spain 🇪🇸

To help them get there, we are planning a Family Fun Walk on Sunday, 14th June.

We’ll be heading off straight after the service, walking from the church down to St James’ Park, followed by a big group picnic. It’s going to be a great afternoon for the whole congregation , and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible!

How you can support:
The youth are humbly raising funds to help cover their travel and basic costs. If you’re able to chip in, no matter how small the amount, it will truly make a difference and is so appreciated.
