On the Solemnity of the Assumption, we honour Mary — taken body and soul into the glory of heaven. ✨

And here in Ipswich, we have our own Marian heritage to celebrate. Long before this Congress, Ipswich was a place of Mary: the medieval Shrine of Our Lady of Grace on Lady Lane was among the greatest in England, second only to Walsingham. Pilgrims came from across the land — Henry VIII, Catherine of Aragon, St Thomas More — and Ipswich may be the very first place to honour Our Lady under the title “Our Lady of Grace.”

The one who first bore Christ in her womb now leads us to Christ, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament — Mary, Woman of the Eucharist, the theme of our Congress. On the closing day, our Eucharistic procession will return to Lady Lane, where the shrine once stood.

Come and be part of it. The Corn Exchange holds only 744 — reserve your seat today.

We’re delighted to share that Radio Maria England will be with us at the Eucharistic Congress. 📻

Radio Maria is a Catholic radio station — “a Christian voice by your side” — bringing prayer, teaching and the life of the Church to listeners across the UK on DAB, online and the Radio Maria app.

There’s a lovely link, too: their Priest Director, Fr Toby Lees OP, is one of our keynote speakers, giving a talk on the closing day, Sunday 13 September.

Come and be part of it — and don’t leave your seat to chance. The Corn Exchange holds only 744, so book today:

St Mary’s Catholic Parish Ipswich are you ready for Mass on September 13th? 🙌

It's going to be amazing: our whole deanery gathering as one body — St Marks RC Church Ipswich and St Mary Magdalen and St Pancras and St Mary’s Catholic Parish Ipswich — around Jesus in the Eucharist at the Corn Exchange.

Now… we hear some are far too humble to twist your arm about it, so consider this your friendly nudge 😉 Don't let St Mary’s Catholic Parish Ipswich be the parish left standing at the back!

Here's the thing: there are only 744 seats, and once they're gone, they're gone. Booking takes about two minutes:

Meet the voices leading our closing day. ✻

On Sunday 13 September, the Congress gathers for its closing celebration at the Corn Exchange — and you’ll be in wonderful company.

✝️ Bishop Peter Collins, Bishop of East Anglia, will preside at the closing Principal Mass at 11.00am (concelebrating with Bishop Alan Hopes).

Then two guest preachers lead the afternoon: 📿 Fr Toby Lees OP — Keynote at 1.30pm. A Dominican friar and Priest Director of Radio Maria England. 🕊️ Fr Alex Pumphrey MIC — Keynote at 3.30pm. A Marian priest serving with the Divine Mercy Apostolate UK.

Between the talks: a Eucharistic procession through the town, Benediction and the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Seats are limited to 744 — reserve yours today at the link in our bio.

We’re thrilled to share this: will be with us at the Eucharistic Congress. 🎶

For thirty years CJM Music have helped parishes across the UK bring the liturgy to life — and they’ll be leading our worship as we gather around Jesus in the Eucharist this September.

But here’s the thing: you don’t want to miss the closing Mass on Sunday 13 September — and the Corn Exchange holds only 744. It’s booking that secures your place. No seat reserved, no Mass.

So do it today. It honestly takes minutes: 🎟️ eucharisticcongressipswich.org (link in bio) 🗓️ Closing Principal Mass · Sunday 13 September · 11.00am 📍 The Corn Exchange, King Street, Ipswich
