Plastic plant pots can now be recycled from home in Somerset 🌱♻️
You can now put non-black plastic plant pots in your Bright Blue Bag with your other plastic pots, tubs and trays.
Please make sure they are empty and reasonably clean.
Black plastic plant pots aren't recyclable and should go in the rubbish bin if they can’t be reused.

We would like to update you on recent changes on the Parish Council. Phil Varney has stepped down as chair, we would like to thank Phil for four years of service and dedication as chair, we have moved on significantly under his leadership.

Phil will kindly stay on as a councillor and Neil Harvey will replace him as Chairman.

We welcome Larry Watkins as a new councillor joining Neil, Phil, Susie Hopkins, Roy Batty, Andy Crouch and Rosanne Fry to make a full complement for a change!

Did you know you can arrange to have large items collected?
You can book and pay for a bulky collection online, crews can collect up to five items from outside your home.
We collect many household items including:
- white goods
- mattresses
- sofas
- bed frames

📆 Changes to collections for bank holiday Monday.
On Monday (4 May) there won't be any rubbish or recycling collections. All collections will be a day later for the rest of the week.
👉 If your usual collection day is Monday, it will move to Tuesday.
👉 Collections will roll on for the rest of the week (so Tuesday moves to Wednesday and so on).
👉 If you usually have a Friday collection, it'll move to Saturday.
♻️ Recycling sites that usually open on a Monday will still be open on bank holiday Monday.
