'Pilgrim Places, Holy Lives' is a new booklet published by the The Church of England exploring eight places which were important in the spread of Christianity in England, and the stories of the saints who lived there - the Venerable Bede, St Bertha of Kent, St Cedd of Lastingham, St Cuthbert of Lindisfarne, St Frideswide of Oxford, St Etheldreda of Ely, St Alcuin of York, and St Hild of Whitby.

Each of the twenty-four days in the booklet includes a Bible reading, prayer, a short reflection, and a suggested response to help you take the next step on your own pilgrim journey through life.

Some copies are available in church. Over the summer, you might like to visit some of the places associated with the saints in this booklet, and reflect on how the gospel has shaped people and communities over the centuries.
