As autumn begins to arrive, its beautiful colours put on a breathtaking display, painting the landscape in rich shades of gold, amber, crimson, and bronze. The leaves on the trees gradually change colour, creating a stunning seasonal transformation before they peacefully and gently fall to the ground, forming a soft, colourful carpet that rustles quietly beneath our feet.

Our autumn canvas wall brings the beauty of the outdoors inside, creating a warm and comforting setting to say goodbye to a loved one. Rich seasonal colours and peaceful autumn tones provide a heartfelt tribute, celebrating cherished memories and a life well lived.

A funeral service for a loved one is a deeply personal and unique occasion, and we are committed to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for family and friends to gather, reflect, and celebrate a life well lived. Our chapel is a multi-faith facility, and our experienced team can assist in arranging services that respect and accommodate all faiths, beliefs, and cultural traditions.

The chapel can accommodate up to 115 seated guests, with additional standing room for approximately 40 people. For larger services, external speakers and a large outdoor screen ensure that everyone can clearly see, hear, and feel included in the ceremony, allowing all attendees to remain connected and part of the service, regardless of where they are positioned.

There’s something particularly peaceful about visiting Forest Park as the seasons change — a chance to pause, reflect and remember amongst nature.

This Sunday 30 August, is National Grief Awareness Day, a day to raise awareness of grief and encourage more open conversations about loss and bereavement.

Grief is different for everyone. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no set amount of time that it should take. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone is there to listen can make a real difference.

National Grief Awareness Day is a reminder to be kind, patient and understanding towards those who may be grieving – including those whose loss may have happened many months or even years ago.

It can also be an opportunity to remember those we have lost and to talk about the memories that keep them close to us.

This Sunday, why not take a moment to check in with someone who may be grieving, or simply take some time to remember someone special. 💙
