Afternoon, All Saints Church, Buckworth will be holding a very special remembrance display to honour the service and sacrifice of our military and civilian personnel in the two World Wars and in later conflicts. It will take place in the church from 1st - 15th November.

Our “Journey of Reflection” visual, storytelling display will be open to the public to visit during the dates above. We would love as many people as possible to visit.

If you are involved in a group, Brownies, Guides, Scouts, Cubs, schools, residential settings etc, etc and would like to visit, we would love to hear from you…..

There is also an opportunity for you to get involved by sharing your stories and memories of your loved ones and display their pictures and their stories as part of our “Journey of Reflection”.

Calling all stall holders, we are holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday 28th November, 2026 at All Saints Church, Buckworth, Cambridgeshire, PE28 5AL

We are looking for people who sell:

Handmade crafts and gifts
Festive decorations and candles
Sweet treats, cakes, and bakes
Unique local business products
Christmas inspired gifts and decorations
Jewellery
Fashion and accessories

Brilliant night last night at the church with Split Whiskers Blues Band 🎤🎸

Thanks to everyone who came along to support it from near and far….🙏🩷🩷🩷

The band were amazing and we will definitely see them in Buckworth again 🙏🙏🩷

Huge thanks also to everyone on The 1086 Guild for their planning, support setting up, management and clearing away of this event. Amazing to see it all come off so well🙌🙌🎉🎉

Huge thanks also to the superb bar team from the club who expertly manned the bar 🩷🩷🍻🍻

It was great to see so many people in the church enjoying the music and each others company💖and at the same time raise much needed funds for the church🙏🙏🌟🌟🌟

What a great night for the village community🩷🩷🩷

This fabulous gig is taking place tomorrow night (21st August) if you haven’t already got your tickets, don’t hang about as only a few left🙌🙌🙌

On arrival, please follow the signs in the village for parking🙏

There will be no smoking allowed outside in the churchyard due to the current wildfire risk so please support us with this🙏🙏

Morning all, a bit cooler today thankfully🙏

A reminder that there is a church service today here in Buckworth at 11am.

Rev. Simon Dommett will be taking the service as Rev. Fiona Brampton has now retired. We also have John with us to play the organ…

It would be lovely to see you join us. Come along and help us boost the church congregation 🩷🩷

It is a family service so everyone welcome - young and older🩷🩷🩷🩷

There will be a Sunday Refresher wth cakes and tea/coffee after the service at midday in the club. The bar will also be open.

Everyone is welcome to the Sunday Refresher, you don’t have to have been to church to join us for the Sunday Refresher☕️🫖🧁🍰🥮
