Today we had a wonderful 150th celebration as we gave thanks for Mary Sumner and the Mothers’ Union.

📸✨ St Lucius Patronal Festival & Commemoration of the Wardroper Grave – 5th July ✨📸

We are delighted to share some wonderful photographs from this year's St Lucius Patronal Festival and the Commemoration of the Wardroper Grave.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate with us. It was a joyful and memorable occasion, bringing together members of our church and wider community to remember our heritage, give thanks, and enjoy fellowship together. A great time was had by all!

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in the Wardroper Grave restoration project, whose dedication, hard work and support helped make this important commemorative event possible.

Special thanks go to Anna at Only 1 Design for capturing the day so beautifully through her photography. These wonderful images provide a lasting record of a very special occasion.

💍 What a wonderful week of celebrations here in Almondbury!

This week we've had the joy of celebrating two beautiful weddings in our parish. Congratulations to Jack and Emma, pictured here, and to Omar and Chanelle. We wish you all every blessing as you begin this exciting new chapter of your lives together.
