Our Harvest Festival is next Sunday. Last year, with your help, Collier Row and Romford foodbank provided food to 3,152 adults and 2,171 children in our local community. This required over 35 tonnes of food to provide these people with emergency support. But, unfortunately, more and more people in our community are going without food and at the foodbank they've seen need increase by 28% in the last three months alone. Your help and assistance will be invaluable in providing support to people that need it.

Collier Row and Romford Foodbank helped people like Amanda and her young family who had been put in emergency accommodation after fleeing domestic abuse. They had left their home with just the clothes they were wearing and placed in an empty flat. They not only provided them with an emergency food parcel but fed them in The Meeting Place, their church community coffee shop, whilst sourcing the extra support that the family needed.

Elm Park Baptist Church will be partnering with them again. Will you help us all make a difference in our community?

They are looking for long-life items and toiletries. We will have a collection point within the church for any donations.

Firstly. Thank you Lord for the rain.🙏🏻
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust Him,so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit"
Romans 15:13.
Our hope comes from God, He is the source of all hope. Meaning your current circumstances do not limit how much hope you can have. Whatever you are facing,going through you have the hope in God. He will get you through.
True hope fills your heart with deep joy and calm even when life feels chaotic.
Remember these words.
"The Lord is my portion: therefore I will wait for Him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him"
Lamentations 3: 24-25
Wherever you are whatever you are doing waiting is never wasted. Trusting in God while we wait brings His goodness, wisdom, knowledge and presence into our lives. Our future is secure. He has a path mapped out for us. (Jeremiah 29:11) We have a purpose. Look ahead with confidence know the your story is heading towards a beautiful destination.

Heavenly Father thank you that your plans for our lives are good and that You hold our future securely in Your hands. When the waiting feels long and our strength runs low please fill our hearts with Your perfect peace and joy. Help us to trust Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for our good. Renew our hope today and remind us we are never alone.
