Hi folks,
As Fr Cherian cannot serve mass this Friday, 5th of Dec, he is now holding a mass at 9am this Wednesday 3rd Dec

Just a reminder that starting from Sunday 30th November, English Martyrs will be celebrating an additional mass at 6.30pm during Advent and hopefully if well attended it will continue into the New Year.

Fr Cherian is pleased to announce that during the weeks of Advent, starting Sunday 30th November, English Martyrs will be celebrating an additional evening mass at 6.30pm. If these masses are well attended, hopefully we will continue after Christmas.

Rejoice, Rejoice. Our new priest Fr Cherian John has arrived and will be celebrating Mass this Sunday at 10am.

Urgent Closure
After having a visit this morning from the structural engineer, property department and the insurers we have been instructed to close the hall/lounge with immediate effect.
The lounge will be closed immediately and the hall from Monday 30th June.
We are in the process of notifying the parishioners via our newsletter of the situation.

Despite not yet having a resident priest, the 10am mass on Sunday's will still go ahead. Unfortunately the 9am daily mass is suspended until further notice.

At the moment our church is without a priest who has returned to India. However we are awaiting a response from Bishop Alan as to our future.
