St Michael's Church will be opened
on Thursday 7th November at 7pm for a special memorial service for the Faithful Departed.

This special service on All Souls day will offer people an opportunity to remember those they love but see no longer, whether the loss is recent or long ago. During the service we will read aloud the names of the departed, remembering them in prayer and thanksgiving. Thank you to all those who attended our very special service for All Souls at St Michael’s. It was a very beautiful and moving service.
Our thanks go to all those who helped make it possible from cleaners to tea makers.
It was a real privilege for us to be with you all. ❤️

Our special service for All Souls will be held as planned from 7pm to 8pm this evening. Refreshments will be served after the service.

We really hope that the service will offer a peaceful, supportive and compassionate space for everyone coming to remember loved ones tonight.

In the darkness of this evening we are drawn together by the light of hope. May the peace of God dwell richly in your heart, and may the compassion of Christ rest gently on your soul.

*Please do be careful when travelling and on approaching the church building in the dark. There will be some additional lighting in place along the paths leading to the main door but it may well be slippery underfoot.
