Want to do something egg-cellent this week? Donate Easter eggs to your local food bank! 🐰

Easter eggs are a small treat that can bring a lot of joy. But for people on the lowest incomes, they're an expense they often can't afford.

If you can, please donate an Easter egg or two to your local food bank over the next few weeks. Just head to your closest supermarket donation point to drop off your sweet donations - thank you 💚

Pray with us today.

God of the earth, the sea and the sky, As we look around us we see change and uncertainty:

The effects of the changing seasons on the work of our farmers, and the security of homes and businesses. The power of the sea on our coastline and the catch of fishing boats. The flightpaths of military aircraft pointing towards global political uncertainty. In our churches and communities too, there is change and uncertainly.

May we know your steadfast love, and that in all times and all places you are there. In the name of Christ, Amen.

MILLIONS of emergency food parcels were provided by our food banks last year. 72% of people were referred because they simply couldn’t cover their living costs.

We absolutely can build a future where no one needs a food bank to survive. But it will take long-term solutions, not short-term sticking plasters.

In John 3:1-17, Jesus tells Nicodemus that spiritual rebirth comes through the Spirit, not through human effort or religious status.

Nicodemus comes to Jesus at night, full of questions. Jesus speaks of being born from above – not physically, but spiritually – through the movement of the Spirit. This passage invites us to loosen our grip on certainty and control and to be open to the mystery of God’s transforming presence.

Take a moment to reflect, where in your faith life do you feel stuck in form – engaging with the Church’s rituals, words and structures, without sensing the Spirit?
