Oasis Bereavement Group Oasis is a bereavement self-help group
open to all within our local community offered by Christ Church, Flackwell Heath.

Oasis is a bereavement self-help group offered by Christ Church, Flackwell Heath, and is open to all in the locality who have suffered any kind of bereavement, either recently or some months or even years ago. It meets monthly, on first and third Wednesday afternoons & second Wednesday evenings in the Christ Church Centre. It provides a social opportunity alongside fun activities such as music, craft, talks etc. Everyone is valued equally and treated with sensitivity and respect. CHRIST CHURCH CHAPEL ROAD

Our Annual Memorial Service it taking place on Sunday 1st November this year. Everyone is welcome to come and remember someone they have lost in the recent or not-so-recent past. If you would like a name read out during the service please contact the Church Office.

Good morning everyone looking forward to seeing you this evening at evening Oasis

For dinner, we have braising steak served with new potatoes and vegetable and a rich w**e gravy. And for pudding, we have apple pie with custard or cream all washed down with something nice.

But the best bit of tonight is Oasis has got talent so I hope you’ve been practising. We look forward to seeing what you all have been up to tonight.

Our Annual Memorial Service takes place on Sunday 1st November at 6.30pm. Within a service of hymns, readings, and prayers, there will be space for quiet reflection for those who have lost a loved one in the recent or not-so-recent past, along with an opportunity to light a candle in their memory. Everyone is welcome to join us, and if you would like the name of a loved one read out during the service, please contact the Church Office.

This Thursday at 11.30am we have our Harvest Down Memory Lane service - a short service open to the whole community followed by lunch. It's especially accessible for those living with dementia and their carers. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Join us tomorrow as we celebrate Harvest. At our morning services we'll be thinking about God's provision and receiving donations to be shared between the Flackwell Heath Community Pantry and One Can Trust, and in the evening we've got Prayer for Everyone as we pray for our parish. Everyone is welcome.

6.30pm: Prayer for Everyone

This Sunday we're celebrating Harvest, giving thanks for God's provision in our lives. We'll be receiving donations to be shared between One Can Trust and the Flackwell Heath Community Pantry - please do bring dried/tinned foods and toiletries to support these amazing ministries.

We'll also be joined by Erica Holt from Wycombe Youth For Christ - one of our mission partners - for what promises to be a really encouraging morning.
