Worth a watch!
This year Pentecost is on 24 May. This is the day in 1738 when John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, had a powerful spiritual experience. This convinced him of the truth of his salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. He began to preach that this salvation was available to everyone.
This year, BBC's Songs of Praise celebrates this with a selection of hymns, and stories of how that passion and conviction continue today. Watch it by clicking on the link -

Aled Jones is in Bristol to explore the spiritual inspiration of John and Charles Wesley, and to introduce classic Wesley hymns from the oldest Methodist building in the world.

This Sunday (24 May) at 11.00am, Hayes, Hayes End, North Hillingdon and Yiewsley Methodist Churches join together at Hayes End Church (UB4 8JW) to celebrate Pentecost together.
(This means that there will be no services at Hayes, North Hillingdon and Yiewsley.)
Come along and let's rejoice in the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Tonight we move from GMT to BST

This Wednesday (11 March) at Hayes End Methodist Church (UB4 8JW) is our midweek communion service at 11.00am, followed by the Welcome Wednesday activities.
At the service we'll be thinking about Jesus and his conversation with the woman at the well (John's Gospel, chapter 4).

On Sunday (8 February), there is no service at Hayes Methodist Church. Instead, we are joining with Hayes End Methodist Church on the Uxbridge Road (UB4 8JW) at 11am to worship God together. The service will be led by the Revd David Goodall.
Hayes End Church is on the 278 bus route, direct from Hayes town centre.
