A big thank you to everyone who's donated or bought books from our second-hand bookshop over the past year. The money raised has enabled us to make a few upgrades to the children's area in church. All the money raised goes towards the upkeep of the church and developing facilities for visitors 💚

August is 'Winnie the Pooh month' in The Book Room! We are marking the 100th anniversary of the publication of the first Winnie the Pooh book in 1926. Church and second-hand bookshop open daily 9am to 5pm, with a display of Winnie the Pooh books to browse or buy, plus a 'Poohsticks' jigsaw on the go and children's colouring sheets.

Over the past few months we've been gathering second-hand copies of the 'Singing the Faith' hymnbook. Thanks to our friends at St Columba's & Stephen Hill Church in Crosspool who have passed on all of their unused copies, we now have a full set - including some Large Print editions- which we launched at our service last Sunday!
