St Johns Harrow

The summer holidays are almost over and families all over Harrow are madly looking for school bags and trainers! We pray for everyone getting ready for school and university, especially for the first time.

Prayers too for our parish school, St Jerome, and their new head, Mrs Schutte, as they start a new phase of school life. St Jerome Bilingual Church of England School is ten years old now - look how they celebrated!

Church activities resume soon too after a summer break - check out our website for details of prayer breakfasts and Messy Church!

Today we thought about the tiny mustard seed which grows to make a tree big enough to offer a home to all the birds of the air - then the children created their own birds for our tree. Can you spot them ?

Christmas is just a few weeks away, so how can we get ready? Join us for Messy Church at St John's this Sunday, 24th November at 3.30pm. We'll have fun crafts, songs and a story, as we find out about Advent and start preparing to celebrate Jesus' birth at Christmas. After the story we'll have tea together and time to chat. Families with children of all ages are welcome - bring your friends along too. Looking forward to it and hope to see you there!
