Do I need to be able to read music? No, you don't. Some of our members do and a lot don't. We learn by listening, singing and repeating our parts. How often do you meet for rehearsals? We meet every Thursday during term times 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Methodist Hall in Pateley Bri
dge. Will I have to audition for a place in the choir? Absolutely not. The choir is about inclusivity. We don't care how well you sing, just come along and enjoy yourself. Will I have to sing any solo parts? Not unless you desperately want to. No one is coerced into singing a solo. Our choir rehearsals are designed to be stress free zones! What age range of people do you accept? Any age, we don't discriminate. What kind of music do you sing? We sing a broad range of music including rock and pop, musicals and traditional carols at Christmas. See our Home Page for post of our current repertoire. How Much Does It Cost? Your first visit is free. After that we have a membership fee of £4 per week. This covers general costs of hiring the hall and other venues, refreshments and a small fee for our wonderful choir leader and pianist.
