Halewood Ecumenical Team St Mary’s and St Nicholas’ Churches serve the town of Halewood within the borough of Knowsley, on the edge of the city of Liverpool.

We are part of the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool and the Methodist District of Liverpool; and, with St Hilda's, Hunts Cross, we make up the Halewood and Hunts Cross Team.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ Centred recovery ministry helping people find freedom from life’s hurts, habits and hang ups…The launch event on Tuesday 30th June at 6:30pm in St Mary’s Church Halewood will be an opportunity for people to learn more about Celebrate Recovery, what to expect and how they can get involved.

We have also set up an Instagram account for Celebrate Recovery Halewood: . Please feel free to follow and share it. Over the coming weeks I'll be posting some short videos introducing the ministry, sharing stories and explaining what people can expect.

Christ Our Light is moving ahead, we should be official on 1st July, and then have our first Parish Meeting on 19th July 6:30pm hosted by St Mary's Grassendale. Within Christ our Light, we are offering prayer ministry training. This training is for anyone who might feel called to pray with people within our services. We would like to offer prayer ministry more regularly in our churches but we need people to pray with others. If you would like to be part of our prayer ministry team, please use this link to book your place on the training that will be held at Springwood Church on 16th June at 7.30pm.
