Devotions, Insights, Dedications and Invocations.
Here follows a collection of insights, devotions and dedications to the Mother Goddess, The Moon Mother, and dedications and invocations to the God, the Green Man, the Horned Hunter, Herne and Cernunnos. Sometimes they are also interjected in devotions that combine the God and Goddess. We try to bring a balance of male and female energies, as there is equal balance in all things. They are written very much from an eclectic view encompassing Wiccan, Pagan and Druid beliefs. We believe that essence of the Mother is within us all. She calls to us in the song of the birds, the gentle lapping of the waves on the shore, within the pulse of the earth and into our very spirits. Some answer her call; some don’t hear or see the wondrous beauty of the Goddess.
Embrace your connection with her, the Lady of the Moon, The Earth Mother. The Goddess can be seen in the beauty and radiance of the Moon and the Stars, the eternal lamps of the dark night sky. We welcome Her Feminine Divinity. We are all gods and goddesses within. We just have to find our Goddess Light,
“For I am that which lies inside and can only be known from within”
We are also connected to the Divine God, he resides within us in the masculine side of us. His energies bring us Strength, Courage, Might and Mirth. He is known by many names, the Herne, the Horned Hunter, Osiris, who was reborn, Cernunnos, as depicted on the “Gunstrup Cauldron” , the Green Man, still depicted in Christian churches. Pan of the wood. He is the Lord and Consort of the Lady. He is as real and present in our life as the Goddess is. Welcome his divine masculinity, dance to his tune.
We, as an online Coven, go back to and celebrate the very core of ancient pagan beliefs, and recount the beauty of the Mother, and we hope, capture Her essence. Also, the Strength and vitality of the Lord. We aim to bring a balance of male and female energies, as there is equal balance in all things.
We also include invocations and dedications to the Elements that give us life. They are to be honoured and revered. They provide everything we need to live and survive within this realm. As Witches, we work with and have a deep connection and respect for the Elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The fifth Element is Akasha, meaning Spirit. Akasha binds all of the Elements together as one. It encircles the Pentagram, bringing Protection.
We hope to be able to capture some of this beauty and wonder within our magickal workings.
In the Light of the God and Goddess
Blessed Be
