Welcome to St Andrew's West Page, a Church of Scotland parish located in the City Centre of Glasgow - open, honest, accepting, pocket full for grace, rooted in the Bible and relevant to life in today’s world. We is a place to belong, a place to make good friendships, a place to learn and grow, a place to find the faith you’ve lost, to strengthen the faith you have and discover the faith you’ve alw

ays wanted, a place to make a difference in our world. We welcome everyone here, we are a diverse group of people of all ages and backgrounds, with all kinds of dreams, fears, problems, strengths and weaknesses. We are very aware that we are not perfect and neither is the world we live in, but we have great hope that a different future is possible when we come together in response to Jesus’s love for every human being. If you have no religious background at all, that’s not a disadvantage here, you don’t have to dress up, you won't feel any pressure, you can bring your questions and your doubts. We are committed to searching and learning, serving, creating and celebrating together. You are welcome to make a virtual visit and get a taste of of St Andrew's West but, if you find yourself in our corner of the world, we would love to meet you and welcome you face to face.

Today we welcomed Rev Murdo MacLean, who as well as leading our service this morning is also our interim moderator during the vacancy period.

Following the funeral of a previous Elder and BB Captain of 93rd Joe Dickie one of the wreaths was brought to the church and placed in front of the communion table.

Today Rev Dr Kleber Machado lead his last service as our minister before he takes up the role of Chaplain to 32 Engineer Regiment in Catterick, Yorkshire.

Prior to service we had a presentation to both Kleber and Ingrid, both their adult children, Jairo and Jasmin were in the congregation. We were also joined by The Very Rev John Miller, who is a friend of Kleber and Ingrid.

Kleber also welcomed new member Parinita, who missed the previous welcome of new members.

Following service we had a congregational farewell lunch in our Oasis cafe, which was well attended by members. We also had music from two members of the congregation Graham and Catriona.

Kleber and Ingrid has asked that their thanks is given to the congregation for the presents they received today and to say they really enjoyed today and thier time at St Andrew's West.

Special thanks to members of the hospitality team for thier hard work today.

Hello everyone I’d like to invite you all to my final ever student recital! This project is what I’ve been working on all year and I could use some moral support .
