The new edition of Flourish is now available in parishes FREE this weekend.
The June edition has a special focus on the Pope's new encyclical, exploring how AI affects YOUR everyday life.
Special focus too on St Peter's in Partick as renovations are completed on the lovely old building.
Also in the new edition ... how marble from some old Glasgow churches is being re-used at Carfin;
a surpise honour for a much-loved missionary priest,
and the enduring appeal of St Thérèse of Lisieux.
And much more!

Invitation to the Feast of St. Columba of Iona

Come and join us in our Parish Celebration of the Feast of St. Columba of Iona on Saturday, 6 June 2026, at the 11:00 a.m. Holy Mass at St. Columba RC Church, 74 Hopehill Road, Glasgow, G20 7HH.

This year is especially significant as we celebrate the 120th Anniversary of the Foundation of our Parish. We warmly invite parishioners, former parishioners, families, friends, and all members of the community to be part of this joyful occasion.

Do you have special memories connected to St. Columba’s Parish—your Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Wedding, or other memorable moments? Come and celebrate these cherished memories with us as we give thanks for 120 years of faith, fellowship, and service.

☕ Refreshments will be served after Mass.

Everyone is welcome. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Where do we encounter God most deeply?

In tonight’s video, Archbishop William Nolan reflects on the meaning behind his episcopal motto: “Sibilus Aurae Tenuis", translated as “The Sound of Sheer Silence.”

Drawing on the story of the Prophet Elijah on Mount Sinai, Archbishop Nolan reflects on discovering God not in noise, power or spectacle, but in silence.

In a world filled with distraction and constant noise, Archbishop Nolan shares why silence remains essential to prayer, faith and encountering the presence of God.

Watch now as Archbishop Nolan explains the inspiration behind his motto.
