Rediscovering Grace 16-20 November 2026

The retreat will be led by Chic Lidstone, author of the book ‘Take My Yoke: an invitation into the embrace of grace’. Alongside morning and evening sessions with Chic, there will be abundant opportunities for personal reflection, prayer and rest in God’s beautiful creation.

Feedback from someone on last week's 'What Next Lord?' sums up the response of others too: "... a wonderful, fruitful week ... such a varied, reflective programme ... what's next is becoming clearer." Another wrote, "This week has been transformative. Considerately facilitated, thoughtfully put together - with enough time to take in the glorious surroundings whilst pondering 'what next Lord'".

The mountains, beaches and woodland at Kilmalieu are wonderful, but it is often the skies that grab our attention: dramatic cloudscapes with light bursting through. Whatever the weather, day or night.: 'LORD, our Lord ... You have set your glory in the heavens.' (Psalm 8 )

The recent 'Celtic Wisdom for the 21st Century' event, led by Scott Brennan, was much appreciated by all involved, but came with an added bonus: After staying on for a few days personal retreat, Scott donated two paintings created during his stay.

Sad farewells after the 'Introduction to Silence' retreat. We're constantly amazed at how people arrive as strangers and leave as friends. 'This retreat exceeded all I envisaged and restored me both spiritually and physically ... I came with no experience of intentional silence, but really benefited from the practical suggestions ... intensely uplifting.'
