Hey. For anyone using the church kitchen between now and Tuesday the water boiler isn’t working. I’m half way through trying to descale it. Three hours in and still no water so I decided the only thing is to pull it apart. We have boiled A LOT of cups of tea! So much so that I’ve taken out nine cupfuls of limescale. I promised Katy I’d be good for tea at 7 so will finish off on Tuesday. Hope I can put it back together so please touch nothing!

We are looking for a reliable volunteer to help set up tables and chairs for our community lunch. It is a practical way to help support a lunch that feeds around 40 people each week, many of whom are either elderly and isolated or homeless. People do not pay a set price for their three course lunch, but only contribute when they can.

You would need to be available every Thursday from 10-11am. No faith or DBS required, just a good heart and physical fitness. You could even stay for lunch if you’d like. Everyone welcome. Please call or text to 07808 728670 if you are interested. Thanks for your consideration.
