Excerpts from Sunday’s message: Building An Unshakable Faith
Subtitle : Foundation

🎤 Rev Felix Tettey

Main Text - Matthew 7 v 24-27

The concept of biblical foundation is building on Christ the cornerstone of the Christian faith.

In Matthew 7 v 24-27, Jesus is teaching us about building one's life on a solid foundation.

In 1 Corinthian 3 v 11, Apostle Paul also confirms that teaching.

🔹Rooted in Christ
Colossians 2 v 6-7
We need to know without a shadow of doubt of who we are.

You can only build an unshakeable faith by knowing and operating in your identity

🔹Renewed by the Word
Romans 12 v 2
Believers cannot build an unshakeable faith by continually feeding our minds with error.

Read the Word
Rightly study the Word
Retain sound words

Strong doctrine builds unshakeable faith

🔹Reinforced In The Inner Man
God's strength in our lives works from the inside and then outward
Ephesians 3 v 16

Strengthened by the Spirit
Stablished by the Word
Supported by grace

Christians with unshakeable faith are not those without storms in their lives but those established in the Word and by the Spirit

🔹Reaching Toward Eternity
Colossians 3 v 2
To build an unshakeable faith, you have to be heavenly minded

Our focus and affection should be on things above as our citizenship in heaven
