The following was read aloud at recent services both in S George's and in Launceston. We are so thankful for the ministry of Fr Michael and extend prayers for him and his family for a most fruitful ministry in the diocese of Truro.
The Acting Bishop of Truro, the Rt Revd Hugh Nelson is pleased to announce that the Revd Dr Michael William Dobson, at present Priest in Charge of St George’s Hanworth Park and Associate priest at St Mary’s Stanwell with St Matthew's Ashford in the Diocese of London is to be Priest in Charge in the Benefice of Launceston & of the Benefice of Boyton, North Tamerton, Werrington, St Giles in the Heath, and Virginstow, in the Diocese of Truro. This is conditional on legal formalities being completed.
Revd Michael will be licensed at a place and on a date to be arranged.
